Los Angeles 2011: Relaxing Comes Naturally

To become more your Self
is to attain a state of relaxation.
Transform how you relax.
What you do to relax,
does it actually relax you?
Is how you relax
transforming and improving your life?
What are the roots of relaxation?

Relaxation is an ancient act
created by creation to recreate.

The English word relax
is originally of Indo-European roots
introduced into English characters in the year 1106
from Latin, Greek, Arabic, Sanskrit and Egyptian -
meaning to lax, laxus, relaxare
meaning to loosen, let go, let give, bring peace.

To become more your Self
is to attain a state of relaxation.

The sounds we speak are simple,
and the characters we scribble are simple,
placeholders invented
to describe the active forces
of our own nature.

The process of relaxing
has various meanings:
to become less intense, less tense, less severe
to cast off nervous tension, anxiety
and attain equilibrium.

Relax also means to be deprived
of energy, zeal, or strength of purpose.
The word Relax can be applied
to group and Self-governing,
such as relaxing the law -
and relaxing your opposition
to another, each other, or even your Self.

Bodies need to relax
each day and night
constantly and continuously.

Sleep is a form of repose -
a pose or poses that we posture
to relax our control,
to alter our state of consciousness,
to instill connection
to the deeper aspects of our Self.

Transforming how you relax
starts with taking a moment to Self-reflect.

Relaxation is a form of energy exchange,
which clears as it replenishes.
Just as easy, simple and natural
as breathing exhales to release,
and breathing inhales to restore.

Relaxation does not require
that you be mindful,
relaxing occurs
even if you are oblivious
to your own state of Self.

Our mind, body and spirt
relax naturally because relaxation
is a natural phenomena - a miracle.
Nature built into our human design
a cyclical seasonal of mechanical forces
that repose and reposition us.

Our ancestors derived a common vocabulary
to Self-describe and detail
their everyday relationship with relaxation.
Throughout history all words used
to describe the act of relaxing,
and relaxation the state,
have one unified understanding.
To relax is to permit a natural altering of your state.
Relaxation naturally occurs as an intention
and desire to restore and rejuvenate.

Charity is a word derived
from Greek and Latin word Kharites, The Charites
The Charities are also commonly known as The Graces.
The Graces are the three Goddesses of grace, happiness, relaxation.
Song, dance and beauty are also considered graces and charities.

Kharites, charity, the Roman Poets translated into Gratia.
Gratia historically was translated and known as Grace.
Gratia was also historically known as gratitude.

The Greeks celebrated the festival of Charites -
Grace, Gratitude and Repose.
In Latin and Greek 'Dei Gratia'
means by the 'Grace of God'.
In Spanish 'Gracias'
simply means thank you.

In Latin 'Gratia Gratiam Parit'
expresses a reciprocal relationship.
A reciprocal relationship is one that is in balance.
When another person's graciously does you a favour,
which endears them to you,
you in return favour them with your gratitude.

In Latin the word Gratia is also used to define
the relationship you have to others,
and the relationship others have to you,
as well as the relationship you have to your Self.

'Gratia' is something someone shows you,
not just in their gratitude,
but through how they treat you.
They favour you with the grace of their gratitude.
Favour meaning esteem, regard, respect acted out,
given to you, by their honourable treatment of you.

Acts of kindness, courtesy, consideration and service
are acts of Gracia, Charity and Relaxation
that the ancients called Human Kindness.

'Dei Gratia' by the Grace of God
is inscribed on the obverse of all Canadian coin money.
A reminder to create relaxed gratitude when exchanging currency,
honouring the true value of each other's exchange through trade.

From the end of the thirteenth century
to the beginning of the fifteenth century,
this European period was called
the 'Golden Age of Mystical Literature in the Vernacular'.
During this time period,
literature was no longer required
to be written only in Latin,
which was the official language of the Church.
People began to grace literature
by writing in 'the people's voice.

In 1521 Henry Pepwell wrote,
"The Cell of Self -Knowledge:
Seven Early English Mystical Treatises".
This writing was about the forces of nature,
including the stages of Contemplation and Relaxation;
known as Imagination, Reason, Understanding
used to create Self-knowledge and Unity Consciousness.

The origins of Greek and Latin are multicultural.
For centuries the Greek language
existed in multiple dialects.
As Greek culture under 'Alexander The Great '(356-323 BC)
and his successors spread from Asia Minor to Egypt
and the border regions of India,
the Attic dialect became the basis
for the Koine Greek.
Koine means "one common language".

Infused with the languages
of the inhabitants of the regions Alexander invaded,
Koine Greek became a world-use language
commonly used to translate in ports of trade,
and diplomatic circles and courts
to transcend all language barriers.

Greek was the lingua franca until 1453,
but was not used in English until 1678.
The universal term 'Lingua Franca'
comes originally from the Italian language
and means 'Frankish Language'.
The Italian word 'Frankish'
comes from the Arabic word 'Firangi'
which means foreign.

Lingua Franca is a language system
used as a bridge language,
to communicate between people
not sharing a common mother tongue.
A vehicular language which facilitates people to grow,
and expand their knowledge of our world.
A conduit to convey transformation themselves
to be more be beyond the boundaries
of their original location and spiritual community.

A Lingua Franca serves as a second language,
for communication between communities.
The original unifying Lingua Franca
was a mixed language
composed with a broad vocabulary
drawn from Italian, Turkish, French,
Spanish, Greek and Arabic.
Lingua Franca was created to create peace,
peaceful diplomacy, safe travel and trade equality.

Egyptian began to be written
using the Greek alphabet in the 1st century.
The new Coptic writing script
was an adaptation of the Greek alphabet
with an addition of six to seven signs
from the demotic script
to represent Egyptian sounds
the Greeks did not have in their language.

Several dialects were mixed together and used,
including the prominent ones of Sahidic and Bohairic.
Coptic and Demotic are grammatically close
to spoken 'Later Egyptian' and hieroglyphic script.

'Coptic' is from the Arabic term
for Egyptian Christians : the Copts al-Qubt.
It's origins were from
'Coptic' the Greek name for Egypt 'Aigyptos' -
which was derived from an Egyptian name for
Memphis, the House of the Soul of Ptah.
'Ptah' was the patron god of Memphis,
and the name Memphis itself comes from Mnnfr.
Mnnfr, is the original name of the pyramid
of King Pepi I of the VI Dynasty.
Mnnfr means 'enduring beauty'.

In Greek 'enduring beauty' translates into
'relaxation and gratitude by the Grace of God'.
In Arabic, 'Mahshallah' means 'by the grace of God',
and 'Inshallah' means 'God Willing'.

'Mon' in Later Egyptian means
Grace, Rest, Repose, Relax
and By the Grace of God.
'Monday' in many cultures
is considered the first day of the week -
and in many languages,
from Sanskrit to Chinese,
Monday is the day of the Moon.

The Moon governs the forces of repose -
the relaxation of the Water cycle's tides,
the Ocean of one's own emotional nature
and each body of emotions.
In many cultures from Judaism to Islam
Mondays are considered auspicious days for fasting.

In the Eastern Orthodox Church
Monday is the day the Angels are commemorated.
In the 'Greek Book of Octoechos'
the hymns and melodies to act out Mon are featured.
The tones in the 'Greek Book of Octoechos'
are arranged in an eight-week cycle
which are chanted on Mondays.

'Octoechos' literally means 'The Book of Eight Tones'.
'The Book of Eight Tones' describes
an eight-week cycle,
each week beginning with
a new mode, tone or echo.
Harmonics for each day of the week.

In many cultures,
musically there is a use of eight modes,
or tones to induce relaxation.
To release and to attain equilibrium
one must relax one's Self
to bring forth charity of grace and gratitude.

Relaxation in all cultures
and languages is simply a state of Giving.
Giving to your Self a change of state.
Giving to your Self a state of Gratitude.
Giving to your Self a state of Joy.
Giving to gain through releasing your hold,
reposing to repositioning your Self,
creates a gain of Self Knowledge.

Relaxation is an ancient act
created by creation to recreate.
Each morning when you awake,
relax into your recreational life time.

Relaxation spontaneously occurs
with the forces of nature.
So give your Self the gift of more,
a variety of states of being.
Permit your Self to relax the force within you.
Permit your Self to relax the force that is you.
Permit your Self to relax to be you,
and enjoy your daily and nightly transformation.

We have been relaxing and recreating,
individually and together,
since the beginning of time as we know it.
Relaxing comes naturally,
activated by the harmonics
of our natural cycles of being.

Sometime after 1812 Berthold Auerbach wrote;
"Music washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life."
