Los Angeles 2021: Historical Shapes

Historical Shapes
We live the shape of our time.
We shape the times -
that we live.
The times that we live shape us.

I shape the tension in my body.
I release the tension in my body.
I reimagine the tension to reshape.
I reshape the tension by imagining.

History is my and your story combined.
My history is individual, not yours.
Your history is unique, not mine.

Together we shape history.
First I shape my history.
First you shape your history.
Together we live shapes that form history.

My form, your form, together we form.
History is uniform,
formed from historical shapes
of all sizes, from all minds, into one.

Imagine that we can reimagine history.

Reimagine all shapes,
and all sizes of all forms.
Exercise your mind forms,
and form new mindful stories.

History does not repeat,
each moment is new -
each unique mind,
full of new stories.

~~ Other People's Fingerprints ~~
Sometimes after 1494, Fuzuli wrote;
"Oh God, make me acquainted with the affliction of love!
For one moment make me not separated from the affliction of love!
Do not lessen your solicitude from the people of pain,
But rather, make afflicted me one more of them!"
